Thank you everyone for a great season.
What kind of tomato do you love? Beefsteaks? Cherries? Scroll on to see our plants by category:
• Beefsteak BLT and burger ready!
• Cherry Eat ‘em by the handful!
• Container Smaller plant. Big fruit!
• Saladette Plum to golfball size!
• Sauce/Paste/Roma Abbondanza!
• Tabletop Balcony/porch perfect!
• Hanging Basket Cascades of fruit & flavor
Please note:
• Dwarf plants are around 3’ tall and can thrive in a pot 15” in diameter or in the ground. Fruit vary widely in size, depending on the variety.
• Tabletop plants are 8” to 12” tall and can be grown, yes, on a tabletop in a pot that’s 7” to 9” in diameter. Their fruit typically range in size from cherries to ping pong balls. Thinking of growing one indoors? That’s a challenge! The plants are small, but they still need several hours of bright sunshine every day.
• Nearly all our plants are indeterminate. They have a vine-like structure. They begin producing edible fruit around early August (give or take) then continue producing until first frost.
• Where noted, a few plants are determinate. They have a bush-like structure. They typically set fruit early, continue for a week or two then are finished for the season.
A couple comments:
• I apologize if you cannot find your favorites. Seeds were hard to get this year. Seeds for some varieties were totally unavailable. And some varieties simply did not thrive.
• We may need to substitute some varieties. We’ll try our best to substitute a variety that’s as close as possible in size, color and flavor characteristics to the one you ordered.
As always, thank you for helping make the world more delectable, one tomato at a time.
